"Fonts updated to Chewy headers." "Logo moved lower in header." Each commit is one visible decision, small enough to judge on sight and cheap to revert.

The human sets direction and judges the result. The agent executes each step in seconds. Sixty small commits beat six big ones because every step is checkable and a misstep costs one revert.

Some commit messages slip into Dutch mid-stream — "Vervang logo met nieuw beeld." The working language follows the audience. The history reads as it happened, which is exactly why it stays useful.

The days after shift register completely: admin auth moves to inline checks with base64url tokens, Google Places wires in live venue data, email gets configured with environment-based senders and sensible fallbacks. The styling sprint produced a product worth operating, and the operating work followed straight away.
